La Coupe Edition

Discovered in the south of France, this coupe was not signed, but Sandie Roy-Saul was seduced by its elegance and modernity.

She had it reproduced exactly in the pure tradition of French cabinetmaking by a young cabinetmaker trained at the École Boulle, based in Eure-et-Loir. He rediscovered the traditional gouge carving technique for the spheres that border this piece.

Crafted from tulipwood, prized for its soft texture, the coupe is then stained with several successive coats to reveal the different shades of brown. It is, of course, entirely handmade.

It now gains height as it is also offered with a base made of the same wood, sourced from objects collected by Sandie Roy-Saul.
